Do sites provide cots, high chairs and linen?
Many do, but it differs by property. Check the listing for available baby gear, bedding and towel policies. If items are on request, book early as numbers can be limited during school holidays.
Are firepits and BBQs family friendly?
Most sites provide safe firepits or BBQs with instructions. Keep children supervised, use designated areas, and bring heat resistant gloves. Some hosts sell wood or charcoal on site check details when booking.
What happens if it rains?
Choose units with sheltered decks or shared indoor spaces. Pack games, books and layers. Many locations sit near visitor centres, caves, castles or steam railways great bad-weather options for mixed-age groups.
