Dog friendly Glamping across the UK
Adventures are better with a wagging tail. Our hand-picked dog-friendly Glamping stays range from snug pods and shepherd huts to woodland cabins and roomy yurts—each place chosen for easy walks, enclosed spaces where possible, and hosts who genuinely welcome four-legged guests. Whether you're mapping out coastal paths or forest trails, these UK Glampsites make travelling with your dog simple and joyful.
Where tails wag: coast, moor & woodland
If your pup is a beach sprinter, the UK coastline has you covered from sweeping sands and dunes to harbour paths and cliff-top trails. Prefer heather and high ground? Moorland routes and national park bridleways offer miles of snuffle worthy terrain. Woodland cabins, meanwhile, keep things sheltered and serene, with dawn birdsong and soft, paw-friendly paths straight from your door.
Start with our UK Glampsites map, or browse by theme via Family Glamping (great if you're travelling with kids too) and Hot Tub Glamping for a soak after long walks.

What to expect (and pack) for dog-friendly stays
Most sites provide the essentials private outdoor space, nearby footpaths, and a warm welcome but it pays to check the small print. Some Glampsites offer dog bowls, outside taps, hose-downs and spare throws for muddy paws. Many recommend leads around livestock and ask you to bring beds and towels. Good neighbours are part of the magic, so brush up on recall and countryside code before you set off.
Look out for accommodation types that suit your dog's temperament. Ground-level pods and cabins are brilliant for nervous pups yurts and shepherd huts suit most breeds and treehouses are best for confident, agile dogs. For easy booking wins, keep an eye on Glamping offers & late deals.

Walks on your doorstep
Many listings include a favourite local loop—riverbank ambles, woodland circuits, or clifftop paths to a pub garden. Use filters on the Glampsites map to find stays near national parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or pair your trip with ideas in our Glamping News & Guides.

Dog-friendly glamping FAQs
Are dogs allowed at every glampsite?
Policies vary by site. Many welcome one or two well behaved dogs per unit, sometimes with a small fee. Breed or size limits may apply, and some sites restrict dogs in shared facilities. Always check the listing for house rules before booking.
What rules should I expect (leads, livestock, cleaning)?
Expect leads near livestock and wildlife, clean-up requirements, and no dogs on furniture unless throws are provided. Some sites offer enclosed areas; others ask you to supervise at all times. Keep noise low and follow countryside code to be a good neighbour.
What should I pack for dog-friendly glamping?
Bring a bed or crate, towels, food and bowls, long lead, waste bags, tick tool and a spare blanket. For wet weather, pack a coat and extra towels. A portable stake and line can help with supervised time outside your unit.
Can I leave my dog unattended in the accommodation?
Usually not. Most hosts require dogs to be supervised at all times. If you plan meals out or activities, choose sites with dog friendly pubs and walks nearby, or travel with your group so someone can stay back when needed.
Which accommodation types suit dogs best?
Ground-level pods and cabins work well for most dogs. Shepherd huts and yurts are also popular; treehouses are better for confident, agile dogs. Look for hard floors, outside taps, and enclosed decks if your dog is energetic.
